Thursday night Aunt Megan, Uncle Greg, Brian and I took Nolan to his first major league baseball game: Diamondbacks vs. Braves. We arrived at the BOB (now called Chase Field) just shortly after the 1st pitch was thrown and settled into our seats in no time.
With as good as Nolan behaved, I think we'll definitely be taking him to all the games we have tickets to this season...let's just hope the Diamondbacks play a little better next time!
Despite the DBacks losing, we had a great time and Nolan behaved very well and even seemed to enjoy himself a bit. He loved staring at the bright lights and enjoyed hanging out with his Aunt Megan for a lot of the game. He wore his little Diamondbacks onesie and looked so adorable. Half way through the game, Uncle Greg went and bought him his own Diamondbacks dog...not a hot dog, but a little stuffed animal to commemorate his first trip to the major leagues. This was necessary (not really) since Greg missed the t-shirt that was thrown directly to him (for Nolan) because he was holding onto a bag of grapes:) So fun!
On our way out of the stadium, a huge storm had rolled in, so Brian had to make a mad dash to the car. Thank god we had the Ergo carrier with a hoodie, so that Nolan didn't get completely soaked as we made a mad dash for the car. Here is an adorable picture of him peaking out from under the hooded cover of the carrier as I tried to shield him from the downpour.

Thank God Megan & Greg went with us to the game...not only did we enjoy their company, but it was also wonderful to have an extra set of hands (or two) to help us with the little man and all the baby stuff that we now have to cart around everywhere!

I love the Ergo Carrier!!! I couldn't have made it with Charlie without one since he was such a hefty baby and it looks like you guys are in the same boat with Nolan's incredible growth too! So much easier on your shoulders than any other carrier :)
Glad you guys had such a great time at the game. I still can't get over how much he looks like his Daddy :)
Super cool how out a about you guys are with that little peanut! Your love for him is so evident in your smiles!
