He Rolled Over

Today Nolan did it for the first time...he rolled over! We had him on his play mat doing a little "tummy time" when he started scooting along and accidentally rolled himself over. It was so fun to watch!! What's even cooler is that because it was a Sunday night, both Brian & I were here to witness it. Not sure that we'll both be present for every little milestone that comes along (like crawling, sitting up, walking, etc.), but it sure was fun to at least share this first one together.

So that leads me to my next point. I'm sure you are anxiously scrolling down to see a picture and/or video capturing this momentous occasion, however you're not going to find one. I've tried my best to get a video of the little man rolling over, but to no avail. Every time he does something cute (which is all the time, right?! :)) I run to grab the camera and by the time I get ready to take a picture or video, he clams up. He must be taking after his father in the camera shy department, because I'm pretty sure that if he was taking after me, he'd be hamming it up!

Anyways, here are a few cute pictures of him playing on his super-cool play mat (thanks Seth & Allison - he loves it!). These were taken shortly after the "roll-over" occurred while I'm desperately trying to recreate the moment.

And like always, I have to include my favorite picture from the week. I think this is maybe my favorite picture of him yet - his little personality is really starting to come out and you can see his little smile & flirtatious eyes:)

Yeah Nolan! He's just growing up so fast! Oh and by the way, you think that he doesn't look like you...Meg that last picture is totally you. I seem to remember a photo at your mom and dad's that has you in Hawaii...I believe that you have the same look. Talk to you soon!
