About 2 weeks ago, Nolan, Brian and I boarded a plane and headed back to Missouri to visit my family (and friends). I can't even begin to describe how much fun we had - spending lazy days with the Grandma & Grandpa Johnny, getting coffee with Lauren & Kurt, catching up with extended family and finally introducing Nolan to his Great-Grandma "Memaw", his Uncle Brett (or Uncle Boo as Nolan will call him) and many other wonderful people.
Unfortunately Brian was only with us for 3 days, but Nolan and I received the royal treatment from Grandma & Grandpa for nearly two weeks. As you will see from the pictures, I barely got to hold my child the entire time. He loved napping on Grandma and Grandpa and I loved the extra help (especially when it involved letting me sleep in!). And while I loved every minute of it and truly missed Missouri, it was nice to come back to Phoenix and see my hubby too:)
