These pictures don't really have a place or a story in the blog world other than they capture some of the cutest things I think that Nolan does. I'm afraid that I'll actually forget these things as time goes on - this makes me sad because today they bring me such joy. Silly how little mannerisms, smiles and looks can make my heart melt, but I guess that's just part of being a mom (or "mommies" as Nolan calls me these days). Again, just another thing that turns me to mush and makes it impossible for me to not smile.
Here is Nolan pointing. Not really something to write about, right? Well I beg to differ because he's not really "pointing" at anything. And notice how he has his hand up next to his cheek and his finger isn't really straight but more crooked. This is the "pointing" that he does when he's not really pointing at anything all. For example, if you ask him where the rabbit is in the yard and he can't find it or see it, this it he pointer that he'll use. It's absolutely adorable and makes me laugh each time he does it!
This picture captures one of the funniest moments I've seen Nolan have with Grandma. It started off so completely innocently and silly and now has become a game of theirs. It involves a "20 Questions" game at the cabin. It make silly beeping noises and he and Grandma go back and forth pushing the buttons and laughing hysterically. Nolan laughs whenever the machine beeps and "scares" Grandma. But then Grandma laughs because Nolan is having so much fun with it. Oh and this face, seriously!?!? When Nolan looks at me with these big blue eyes and pouty lips, I really do think that he could convince me to do anything. Usually he pulls this face out when he's being threatened with a time out. Hopefully soon I'll become immune to it...
Aprons. Nolan has been enjoying weekend workshops at Home Depot with Grandpa and Daddy (1st Saturday of each month). He's loved it so much that Grandma found some awesome Thomas the Train fabric and made him an apron. He LOVES it! And what I absolutely love about this pictures is something that I can't show...he' has it on with a shirt, but is bottomless. So, you'll have to use your imagination, but his little "cheeks" are sticking out the back and it's just hilarious:)
