Family Pictures

I find that my days are flying by and that I'm having a hard time keeping up with everyday tasks, muchless get around to updating the blog. However...I must show everyone these amazing pictures that Erin McFarland (http://www.emlifephoto.com/) took of our family just days after Pen arrived. We are blessed to have her capture this exciting time in our lives on film and couldn't speak higher of her work and the time and patience she had with us that day (she spent 4+ hours at the house taking pictures of all of us).

Here are just a few of my favorite. I adore the ones that she took of sweet little Pen when she was just a few days old, but absolutely LOVE the ones of Nolan. She truly captured his little personality in these pics and I'll cherish them forever!

This is one of my faves. Not just because it's Bri with his daughter, but because after this shot was taken, Pen pooped and pee'd all over Brian and he didn't budge. Quite hysterical! Here is another favorite - Nolan and Daddy! Best buds and this captures their cute relationship - playful and caring!Nolan and his big blue eyes and "chompers". I love how this shows how happy and smiley he is, but also just the kindness in his eyes (which he gets from his daddy!)
Let's hope Nolan continues to love Pen as they get older. She's going to need her big brother in so many ways and he's is already fulfilling his role of protector and guider of her.
Such a random picture to capture. Obviously we can't make Pen do anything at this age (and really, we can't make Nolan do much either!).
Threee generations of Krautmann women. So lucky that Mom (Grandma Chris) was in town so that we could take this picture. And, BTW, isn't my mom beautiful!?!?!
As a general rule, I'm usually against anything Pink. It's just to "girlie" for my personality. But, isn't this a fabulous exception. I love her little smile and the pink/brown combo works for her!
The cradle that my Pepaw (Pen's Great-Grandfather) built. All the Krautmann children spent the first months of their lives in this cradle and I'm happy to carry on that tradition with our children.
