Grandpa Johnny's Visit

Last weekend my dad (aka Grandpa Johnny) came to visit us and have a weekend with little Nolan as well as his other grandchildren. My brother Jay and his wife Andrea (Nolan's Godparents) and their 3 children (Sammy, Jane & Damien) were all in town for a wedding. We had so much fun with Dad, taking walks, swimming and of course, Nolan had some great naptime on Grandpa Johnny's chest. It was also a fun weekend because Nolan got a chance to spend some quality time with his cousins...something I hope we get to continue to do since they only live a car-ride away! It's so cute to see my nephew Sammy at an age where he can help out with the kiddos and wants to hold the little guys. Below, Sammy enjoyed holding Nolan while Grandpa Johnny took care of Baby D (Damien). Sammy kept telling me how cute Nolan was, but would always follow that statement up with "but my baby is cuter"...he really loves his little brother!

At the end of the weekend, we enjoyed a fun afternoon at Peter Piper Pizza, celebrating Brody's 1st Birthday. Nolan was enjoying all the lights and sounds that the games provided and there was constant action going on - he was EXHAUSTED when we left and slept for a good couple of hours as a result!

Thank you so much for coming to see us Dad and creating some great memories with Nolan - he will always cherish his precious time with Grandpa Johnny!
