Today was an interesting day...
We started out with an early morning (even on a Holiday we can't seem to sleep in) trip to the hospital for a few tests on Baby Riley. Because we're "over-due", our doctor wants to make sure that my belly is still the best place for our little one to reside. We had a non-stress test and got to hear the baby's heartbeat for :30 minutes. It was so cool to hear the fluctuations in the heart rate and the doctor concluded at the end of it that our baby was "textbook" good. Next they did an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid around Gilligan to make sure there was plenty of it. Again, everything checked out perfect.
From here, we ran a few errands and then headed home for a catnap so that we could be well rested for the Annual Tripodi Memorial Day party! This is either our 4th or 5th year attending and we always have such a wonderful time. Cos & Evelyn (Andrew's parents) are the best hosts/hostesses and the food is abundant and yummy. Evelyn even had "brown cows" (fancy name for Root beer Floats) again this year for dessert - a family favorite of mine that reminds me of my childhood visits to see my grandparents in Cincinnati. Here are a few pictures of our group. We've grown over the past few years and this time next year there will be two more "little people" in the picture...Anabelle & baby Riley.

The lovely ladies of the group:
And of course our wonderful husbands (we missed Eric) who brought the group of us girls together!
And last, but not least, the "puzzle" picture. Amy & I are so lucky to get to experience our pregnancies together and I can't believe that our little ones will be born within just weeks (maybe days) of one another.
