On April 12th, three of my best girlfriends threw us our second amazing baby shower. This time, it was all our friends & co-workers....and it was a blast. Amy, Erin & Jackie put together an incredibly special day, including breakfast sandwiches (my favorite) and creme brulee french toast (yummy!). We ate a ton, chatted and played a couple of games. At the end, everyone created a fun storybook for baby Riley to kick off his/her library collection. I'm so excited to start reading these to him/her.
One of the highlights of this shower is that my girlfriend Kristy (aka Kitty) from college flew in from Detroit for the weekend - what a true girlfriend, especially considering that she HATES flying. Like I've already said, I am just amazed by everyone generosity and excitement for our little one!
