Happy New Years!

I can't believe it's already the middle of January - time really does fly! It feels like it was just yesterday (or the day before) that we were ringing in the New Year (east coast time) with our dearest friends...the D'Ortenzio's, Holt's and Prices. It was so nice to spend the evening relaxing with friends and hanging with all our kiddos. Over the years we've always tried to come up with some brilliant New Years plan, but every year we come back to the same group doing the same thing - why try to fix something that isn't broken! We always have the best time and the best part is that we don't have to fight any crowds, pay crazy money for weak drinks and we can actually just sit around and talk instead of scream over whatever really bad music the DJ would be playing.
The only thing that was missing this year was the boys setting off fire-crackers like teenagers...yup, they're 30 years old and still act like 15 year olds when they get together. How cute are all our guys with their kids? Hard to believe that only 3 years ago not a single child was in this picture and now there are 5!

(Our attempt to get all 5 kids together for a picture)

(Nolan took a liking to Kylie's piano - good thing because I'm going to force him to take lessons just like my parents did:)
