Eating Solids

I've been pretty hesitant to start Nolan on solid food. It's not that I don't want him to grow up, but I have to admit that feeding him solids take a lot more work than nursing him. Plus, as everyone can tell, he's definitely thriving on a diet of only breast milk. On the downside, there's the added laundry (because it's messy), the added dishes and the need to have the high chair permanently set up. But, he's been wanting to try food for a while now - every time Brian and I are eating, he sits looking at us with his mouth wide open, drooling all over the place and grabbing for whatever we are eating. And, this is an area where Brian can take over feeding him:) Hope you enjoy these little video clips. He definitely demonstrates a love for food early on!

So cute! I love how excited he gets! I also love that you do the same thing that we do, we don't let them grab for their food... both AJ and ANabelle caught on really quick, Anabelle now grabs the highchair and opens her mouth, so cute and not very messy that way! Nolan is so adorable, watch out he looks like he is going to like his food! You're going to have to make a lot next weekend! :)
