The Cabin is Open

YEAH! The time is finally here. It's getting warmer here in Phoenix, which means it's time to head North to the cabin on the weekends -- our favorite time of year!

Part of our tradition is to go grocery shopping in Sedona. Because it is warm and we had Sullivan in the car, Nolan and I waited with him and Brian headed in to do the shopping. Nolan and I kept ourselves occupied by taking some pictures...this one actually turned out okay.

All bundled up and playing in the family room. It's so fun to be wearing sweatshirts!One of Nolan's favorite toys is an old Mustard Seed box that's taped shut with pennies in it. Pappa T made this for him when he was 5 or 6 months old and he still loves it. My other favorite part of this pictures is Nolan wearing his BabyLegs underneath his shorts. I just love the versatility of these "legs" and think they are super-cute!

Here he is pushing his car around kitchen floor. This Taxi Cab is one of his other favorite toys right now.

Here we are playing on the bed in the kitchen. This is the coveted napping spot, but as you can see, Nolan is no where close to napping!And of course, Nolan's favorite time...bath time! No matter where we are or what time of day it is, a bath is Nolan's number one thing to do. He's always a happy camper and just loves it - he even doesn't mind getting water dumped over his head when washing his hair.

Overall, it was an awesome weekend. We had a blast with ALL the Riley's (and Smith's) and can't wait for more weekends up North!
