On March 22nd, my two wonderful sisters-in-law (Megan & Erin) threw us a gorgeous baby shower. However, because I haven't entered full "mom" mode and don't carry my camera with me everywhere, you'll just have to trust me that the food was delicious (and abundant!) and the flowers were amazing. They had even lined the staircase will little onesies, socks & mittens...such an adorable idea and now we have an incredible number of baby clothes for this child! Most of the Riley family was able to join us, as well as the beloved "football/christmas tree cutting" crowd.
Also, a wonderful surprise that somehow everyone (including my husband) kept from me - a visit from two of my favorite Riley cousins...Kiki & Jessica. I actually screamed when I saw them and then started to cry I was so shocked/overwhelmed. Usually my emotions are a little under control, but I was just so amazed to see them and honored that they made the trip to celebrate with us! Here are a few pictures from the day:
